  3. The Book of Taliesyn has been my favorite Deep Purple album for years, and with this newly pressed, colored vinyl record, it will be for many more. Colored vinyl does't usually produce the best sound quality, however, this particular record sounds great! The coloring is very igtiomemopila.walllicenttadoldsultepementsoftringhar.co black, which may be the reason/5(38).

  8. "Anthem", the last original track on the album, resembles the structure on King Crimson's debut album title track, released a year later. This song is very organ driven and it is perhaps Deep Purple's deepest venture into classical music on a regular studio album, competing with "April" on the band's subsequent third album.
  9. Deep Purple would keep getting better from here, taking this potential and running with it a little more on their self-titled follow-up to this album. 'The Book Of Taliesyn' is a good album on its own merit though, and while it is not excellent or particularly engaging, Deep Purple does deserve more credit for this album than what they get/5(36).
